We started Capital City to do roofing the right way.

A Little About Us

Capital City Contractor Corp was founded with one goal: to give Rochester homeowners a roofing contractor they could actually trust.

When Edgar started the company, he had seen firsthand what bad roofing looked like — rushed jobs, subcontractors with no accountability, and homeowners left with problems that came back the following winter. He believed Rochester deserved better.

Starting with a small crew and a commitment to doing every job right, Capital City grew project by project roof by roof earning the trust of homeowners across Monroe County through consistent, honest work.

Today we’re a GAF certified, BBB-accredited team with 500+ completed projects across Rochester and surrounding areas. We still operate the same way we did on day one: no subcontractors, no shortcuts, no surprises.

Why Rochester homeowners call us, and call us again.

We believe great construction starts with a clear purpose and strong values. Our mission and vision reflect our dedication to delivering high-quality contracting services, building lasting partnerships, and setting new standards in reliability and performance.

We show up.

When you call, we respond the same day. No waiting weeks for a quote.

Josue and his team were great. Josue came out and did a thorough evaluation of my roof with drone video and pictures. He walked thru all the areas of concern found in the inspection and provided me estimates for different repair options. After they installed the new roofing materials I had some questions about certain areas. Josue walked thru all my concerns and expressed issues he was seeing as well. It was determined that the materials had defects and they were going to redo it all under warranty. Once here for the reinstall he recommended adding additional venting to alleviate moisture issues I was still experiencing, which made sense to me. Josue also designed a solution to fix some damaged siding and window trim that sat along the roofline so it looked clean and finished. The crew were hard-working, respectful and cleaned up the area better than when they got here! It truly looks amazing. What appeared to be a simple roof replacement ended up having some challenges, these guys worked thru it all.
